“This is not my first experience but if I think about it it could be my fault for not properly scanning my ez-link card, but to my horror, the public transport is over charging me for the transport I take.
“Read the screenshot, by standard, my morning ride from my block to the tampines interchange towards my office costs:
Block bus ride to Tampines Interchange = $0.69
Tampines Interchange MRT to my office = $0.96
Total: S$1.65
“Yesterday on June 4, this was what I paid:
Office MRT to Tampines Bus interchange = $1.46
Bus ride from interchange to my block = $0.81
Another additonal charge of = $1.21
Total ride = $3.48
“If I am not wrong the trip back and forth should be the same pricing.
“I am going to monitor my future rides from now on, I think all commuters should do that too.
“What’s worse, it is a hassle to make a claim if you’re charged wrongly.
