Here’s how to solve the reserved seats problem: Have a reserved cabin!
STOMPer Mark suggests that SMRT should reserve an entire cabin for needy passengers like pregnant women, the disabled and the elderly.
In the STOMPer’s email dated Jul 5:
“It has always been an issue of commuters not giving up seats to pregnant women. Some even said that pregnant women were unappreciative when seats were given to them.
“My suggestion to SMRT – reserve either the whole of the first or last cabin for pregnant women, the disabled, the elderly and those who are carrying babies.
“This way, no issue anymore.
“Any comment from fellow STOMPers?”
