STOMPer Non-artist is not sure whether these paintings at the Ulu Pandan Park Connector were the work of pranksters or official artwork commissioned by NParks.
In the puzzled STOMPer’s email dated Jul 5:
“These pictures were taken at the Ulu Pandan Park Connector (PCN) near Boon Lay Way.
“While jogging here one day, I came across these so-called paintings on the stone pillars erected by NParks.
“I am not sure if NParks had commissioned some students to do these paintings or some prankster had chosen to display his artistic talent on a more visible way.
“Whatever it was, I was not able to appreciate these modern paintings and felt that perhaps some sculpture of birds would be more suitable for the PCN.
“I appreciate Vincent van Gogh’s famous Sunflowers but I am put off by these modern paintings which baffle my simple mind.”
