STOMPer gourmet was disappointed with the tofu and century egg dish he ordered from a Chinese restaurant at Jurong Point.
This STOMPer says that the actual dish was worlds apart from the picture shown in the menu.
“These pictures were taken at a Chinese restaurant at Jurong Point.
“The beautiful red lanterns hung up at the restaurant attracted my attention.
“My friend and I went into this restaurant for lunch and after looking at the menu , we decided to order century egg (bi dan) and tofu, fried rice and red bean pancake.
“On the menu , the picture of the century egg and tofu looked attractive as the century eggs were cut and arranged neatly in large slices.
“But when we were served the dish we were shocked that there were only a few miserable bits of century eggs and the tofu was icy cold.
“We felt cheated as we did not get value for our money. I think the boss of this restaurant should have been more upfront and served us food according to the picture shown on the menu.
“It was a disappointing lunch at Jurong Point.”
