Some unhappy smokers decided to express their displeasure regarding the smoking ban in public places by vandalising this statue at Clarke Quay.
A cigarette has been carefully pasted on this statue of a young boy with a little note that says ‘Hi NEA,so how much was it today?’
STOMPer Brian, who was amused by this sight, says:
“With the not-so-recent law that has been passed out by the NEA that smokers are only allowed to smoke outside roof-ed areas, most smokers, being used to smoking at yellow boxes, are not happy with it.
“But the best reaction comes from the statues at Clarke Quay.”
