In an email sent to STOMP today (Aug 3), a spokesperson wrote:
“I am writing in response to the STOMP post submitted by STOMPer Arubin on July 9.
“We thank STOMPer Arubin for highlighting this issue to us. NTUC FairPrice is committed to providing quality products at best value to customers.
“We work closely with our suppliers to ensure product quality.
“We have notified our supplier about this product issue. The supplier has since contacted the customer and offered an exchange for the customer.”
