Why is KFC still using foam plates that melt from hot food?

STOMPer Whoelse wonders why KFC is still using foam plates to serve its hot food. The foam melts because of the temperature and the STOMPer asks: “Isn’t it common knowledge that it’s bad for health?”
In the STOMPer’s email:
“We had breakfast this morning (Aug 8) at KFC Westmall and when we are about to consume our food, we realized the foam plates had melted from the fried chicken and hash brown.
“Isn’t it common knowledge not to use foam products as container for hot food as they will release some kind of toxin that is bad for health?
“I wonder how KFC will respond to this.”
