Attacked by dog near busy French Road foodcourt
STOMPer RJ was bitten by a stray dog near the busy foodcourt at French Road. He worries that such strays might pose a threat to the elderly and children if allowed to roam free.

Here’s what the STOMPer wrote in an email today (Sep 3):

“On Monday morning (Aug 31), I was walking towards the MRT station via French Road, near the Block 804 foodcourt.

“I was damn sure not to disturb the dog. Where got time to entertain a dog, when people are going to office?

“But this dog bit my left leg. Luckily I was wearing a pair of thick pants so the impact wasn’t so great.

“It looks like a stray dog.

“My concern is that the places where dogs like this one hang around are full of elderly and children.

“If dogs like this are left to roam around, there might be a Rabies outbreak.

“I hope the relevant authorities will take the necessary action.”
